The Elderberry Nursery, leased and managed by Terry Durham of Eridu Farms is located on our farm near the historic Missouri River town of Hartsburg. The Norm’s Farms family is committed to providing the newest selections of elderberries being developed for commercial production in the US. Terry Durham is a founding member of the Missouri Organic Association and works hand in hand with Norm’s Farms, researchers and growers to provide the healthiest and hardiest plants to our customers. Terry specializes in the establishment and management of commercial production and is always available for consultation with farmers who would like to develop their own specialty elderberry nursery or are interested in contract growing. The nursery currently has 16 varieties of Elderberry plants, cuttings and bare root plants for sale. We can supply you with just a few plants for your back yard garden–or, if you are a commercial farmer, we can supply you with all the plants you need to plant 1/2 acre to 20 acres or more. We will make every effort to fill your order to its fullest. however, we reserve the right to make substitutions of like varieties if we find ourselves short or out of stock. Please specify shipping date. If no shipping date is specified, please note cuttings start shipping in Jan. If you have a shipping date in mind you can tell us in a “NOTE TO SELLER” on the confirmation page of your order. It is the last page when you have a chance to confirm your order before hitting submit.
Cuttings ship while plants are dormant. All orders placed for cuttings ship starting Jan and continue through Mar. Weather can be a factor and may allow shipment into April.
Need to split your 1000 lot order into multiple varieties? Not a problem. All you have to do is click the “Add to Cart” button after the 1000 lot. It will add 1 cutting at the 1000 price each to your cart. Now change the 1 to the quantity you wish to receive. You will need to hit the “Enter key” on your keyboard to except your change. You will know you are successful when it updates the price. Next, select the second or third variety and repeat this step. Please note your total order must be for 1000 cuttings or more to get the discount rate.
